The origins of Avitech can be traced back to AEG, the German electrical and electronic giant. Through a series of mergers and acquisitions the Avitech group grew through partnerships with companies such as Dornier, Daimler Chrysler, Nortel Dasa and Frequentis Network Systems.

The name of Avitech is firmly established internationally as the successor of these companies and mergers and fully supports all systems that were previously delivered. Avitech’s senior engineering resources trace their history and heritage back 40 years to these companies of excellence.

Avitech is an independent non-listed stock corporation (German AG) owned jointly by investors and employees. The employees are particularly proud of the role played by Avitech MAB GmbH, a German Ltd. company specifically founded by the employees of Avitech AG to invest in their own company and its future.

Avitech employees have willingly invested their own money (this is not a stock option scheme) showing their commitment to Avitech and their belief in its products and its future.
