Nigerian Aviation Handling Company (NAHCo) intends

providing services for aircraft/ramp handling, ensuring

Comprehensive handling services
The Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA) at Lagos is set to become a hub within the West African sub-region. Consequently, all stakeholders in the industry in Nigeria are working round the clock to ensure this becomes a reality.
NAHCo will be on standby to provide safe and comprehensive aviation ground handling services to all customers at the MMIA. Since commencing operations in 1970, NAHCo has become a reliable partner to over 20 airlines, the majority of which are international carriers.
Maximising efficiency
Processes, procedures and systems have been reviewed and updated to meet industry standards, future challenges and the ever increasing demands of customers. NAHCo became the launch customer in Africa of the US based ARINC with the installation of its Integrated Multi User System Environment (IMUSE) technology that allows many airlines to share the same gates and desks through a common workstation, maximising airport operations efficiency.
Selected staff within the NAHCo team have been trained on the Hermes Solution for cargo handling which can be easily tailored to individual customer requirements. The company has 10 IATA dangerous goods certified instructors. Adequate infrastructure, including spacious transit cargo sheds with cold storage facilities, are available.
Restructuring and privatisation
In accordance with the on-going privatisation of the Nigerian Government, the 60% stake in the company held by the Government through the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) is being divested to the public through an Initial Public offer.
